Do not grow weary

Have you ever been going through life and at the time everything seems to be going well? You currently  have the job you want. For once it seems like the kids are doing good. You’re attending church, reading your Bible, reading devotionals when you can and your relationship with the Lord is growing! Everything is going good! Then, out of nowhere, it seems like everything falls apart over night. Work is stressful, you can't seem to do anything at work right. Your personal life is just one disaster after another. And even though all this is going on, there is one thing in your life that is still good and hasn’t changed… your relationship with the Lord. Even when everything is changing, keep your faith. Trust God he never changes.

There was a time in my life, even after coming to the Lord, I couldn’t see the Lord through my struggles. I was praying, seeking good Godly wisdom, everything I knew to do. Yet it seemed like I took two steps forward and got knocked three steps back. I became upset and even wanted to quit  going to church. For a period of time, I did. I wouldn’t attend any of the extra church ministries going on. It started to affect me even more since I wasn’t in God’s word. My mind played games on me and I started second guessing everything and everyone. If the enemy can get our mind he will eventually sink into our hearts.  Some time had gone by. I remember  hearing a specific message at church and it was on Galatians 6:9.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up.” ~ Galatians 6:9

Often as believers we don’t get weary OF the work we get weary IN the work. This is because we lose  focus and take our eyes off the Lord. If you are walking out your life with the Lord or just now coming to the Lord, there are going to be struggles that rise up in your life. Situation and circumstances, some out of our control.

I encourage you to keep pressing forward when things get rough in your life! Don’t give up...don’t give in... the blessing is in the pressing! You will see the harvest if you keep moving forward and always trust God's will. So thankful that the Lord snatched me out of that season quickly. I encourage you, if you find yourself in a season where things may  be shaky and you are doing all you can... trust the Lord. Don’t grow weary. The Lord will bring you out of it. The Lord will give you strength.

Lets Pray:

“Lord, I pray that we don’t fall weary. I pray that as we continue to walk in the plans and purpose you have for our lives that you guide our every step. When we begin to lose sight and get tired, remind us that you are for us not against us and just like before if we just hold on we will reap the harvest in your time. In Jesus name Amen!”
