Sisters with Scriptures believe in the one true God. A God that sent his one and only son, to be born of a virgin, live a life without sin, become our sin and die on the cross for our sins, his name is Jesus! His blood was shed for you and I. But it doesn’t end there. Jesus died on the cross then rose again defeating sin forever.
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures”. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Salvation
If you believe in your heart, confess with your mouth that you are a sinner, ask for forgiveness, and declare Jesus is your Lord you can have everlasting life with him.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
We are all sinners by human nature and by choices that we make. But we can receive eternal life as a free gift!
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
God demonstrated his love for us on the cross! With arms stretched wide Jesus was crucified.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”. Romans 5:8
We MUST trust and surrender to Jesus as our Lord and Savior allowing him to enter into our hearts.
“ If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved” Romans 10:9-10
Prayer
“Dear God,
I confess that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I confess in my heart and speak with my mouth that Jesus Christ is your son and he died on the cross for my sins.
I confess Jesus as Lord of my heart, my soul and my life. I accept Jesus as my personal savior and I praise you for making a way for me. I declare by the blood of Jesus that I am SAVED!
Lord I invite you into my life and I pray you continue to reveal your love to me by your Holy Spirit. I ask you to have your way with my life. I thank you for the new creation you have made me.
